  11. I have been getting a lot of noise lately. I assume it is coming in thru 
  12. the line. The noise is manifested by extraneous characters and commands 
  13. on my communications program screen. And commands are sent to the ISP.

  15. Is this problem due to the ISP, phone company, local lines, my lousy 
  16. connections inside my room, or my computer.
  17.  
  18. What have been other peoples experiences and how have they solved them.
  19. Just as I started this note I got a burst of so much noise that it kicked 
  20. me out of 'tin'.
